So ... Let's install the Wordpress app on Android devices ...

Go to the Google Play apps store, search for the app and click the "Install" button:

Google will require access to identity, location, etc. Once you accept, the Wordpress app will be automatically downloaded and installed.

It could take some time, so be patient ... When it's done, you'll see the usual "Open" button:

Click it. Depending on your current Android installation you may need to update the Google Play services too ... If so, just hit the "Update" button to launch the automatic update.

And here it is the famous Login button ...

On the next screen choose the second option ...

... and once you have entered your domain URL, you'll have to provide your Wordpress credentials:

And that's it ... Here's your Wordpress dashboard ...

If you click the "Add new" button ...

... you'll be taken to the post editor ...

Cool isn't it?

Final note: I've tested these solutions on my site which isn't hosted at WA. If you face any issues on WA hosted websites please let me know. Thanks!

I tried to log in the Wordpress app on my iPad. There are three options to log in, using email, google or entering your site. So I chose log in by entering your site. It shows error 403... dunno why? :(

Thanks for your feedback Silas!

It seems that WA won't allow these connections. As I said in my tutorial I've tested these methods on sites hosted outside of WA ...

Shame :(

I'll have to update the tutorial ...

The WP app does not work with WA hosted sites. You can still manage your site via web browsers on your iPad. I use Firefox.
