Now you should have a drop down menu showing, with several options. You want to select "Free to use and share, even commercially" as it shows here:

Click on that one,

You could of course select "free to use or share" or any of the other options, but by my thinking, since we are in the business of online marketing, if you are going to be using the image(s) for marketing/promotional purposes, it is technically a "commercial" usage, so hey - better safe than sorry, hmm?

You might want, if you are someone who likes to tinker with images, to select the bottom choice, "free to use, share or modify, even commercially".

I don't usually select that, because I seldom want to modify an image, and I prefer the wider selection available. But that is another viable option, albeit a bit narrower in the amount of images available.

Okay. We're almost done. On the next page we'll wrap this up and you will be able to find scores of free to use and share, even commercially, images to use on your websites.

Yes I do use this a lot. Typically I go for free to use, share, modify even commercially, just to be safe. However, if I don't have the intention to modify then you're right that's seems pretty safe to use. Great job!

Thanks, Candace. Yeah, I looked into it, and if you don't need to modify an image, the wider selection is the way to go, and completely legal.

I've been using this technique for a couple of weeks. The only thing I do differently is to select the bottom choice. "free to use. share or modify, even commercially."

Good for you, Phil, and I agree that option gives you even more latitude. I don't often find the need to modify an image, so I opt for the wider selection. But it is good to have that option available when needed, too.

I modify most of my images. I never considered the other choice giving a wider selection.
