There are two ways you can go with eBay and Amazon and there is no reason why you couldn't conceivably do both.
- Sell on eBay and Amazon
- Become an affiliate of eBay and Amazon
There is a distinct advantage to using these two platforms for either selling your own products, or becoming an affiliate. Everyone knows eBay and Amazon. They are huge worldwide enterprises. Just being a part of either company gives you instant credibility and trust. People are not afraid to buy from either Amazon or eBay, so as a seller or an affiliate, your job is made that much easier because of their reputation.
While I won't get right into how to either sell or be an affiliate of these companies (as they would be full trainings in themselves), what I will say is that setting yourself up as a seller or affiliate for either is a relatively simple process.
As an affiliate there is a downside. Neither of these companies pays very generous commissions and they only offer 24 hour cookies; meaning if someone clicks your affiliate link but doesn't make a purchase for 25 hours, you miss out on your commission. However, their credibility is their biggest positive and it is easier to make sales as an affiliate through these 2 channels rather than some more unknown companies.
