Now you have clicked the color as described on the previous page here you then click contrast as shown below.
Step 5
Once contact has been selected a new image will appear with a box and two other choices below it.
Here you will see a black dot in the bottom left corner
To make this easier just drag and drop that black dot to the red side at the top on the right or, the top left side which is lighter for now.
This again will change your color but don't worry if this is not your color choice as you will make further adjustments to what you want later in the next couple of steps.
Step 6
Once done with step 5 the next option is using the sliding scale which is highlighter below
Here you can now start to select the color you prefer to use for this one I choose green as you can see. This now highlights my selected group of text to have a green background.
Step 7
The next part is the final section for these changes and that is the contrast of your selected color you choose and want.
Here is where you can choose how light or dark you want your colour to be.
As you can see sliding it to the left will become lighter or darker sliding this to the right.
just experiment and perhaps take note of the color - coding you are given as shown above.
Once done congrats you have created a group text with your selected color choice as the background.
Awesome to hear.
If you want to see further options of adding additional colour to this same group or adding colour to your text follow the next page.
My only question, what if you highlight text in a new post in wordpress and it DOESNT appear with the options box you displayed above? Is there some kinda setting i should've changed or something?
Any feedback heaps appreciated, but thanks again brother, this is super helpful stuff.
