1. Put yourself in your audience shoes

Why would you perform a Google search? How do you respond to content yourself?

You can distinguish valuable content. The recommendation has been to create content with the intent of helping others.

2. Research frequent asked questions

Quora is convenient to find out what questions people have been asking.

Google can also help you with this task. You could look at the "People also ask" section every time you perform a search. And then try to write a post that answers these questions. Try to answer them in a better way than the currently featured posts.

Good job -- and good list. I have done quite a bit of what you suggest, and so far finding something to write about for my twice-weekly posts. It's been important to me to give out good information; more so, even, than making sales. I feel the sales will come if I get a following that really likes the site.

I am with you. The emphasis should always be on building trust. We are loyal to businesses that have built trust with time. Sales are just a result. But they should not be our primary goal because they blind us.

Thank you very much for your comment.
