The first and most important step is to write down ALL your ideas. You may think that some are stupid or will never amount to anything-it doesn't matter,write them down! This is a crucial step because you will need to sift through a few idea in order to narrow down to a successful niche/blog topic. To get you started,ask yourself the following questions:

1. What do I naturally excel in? This is something that other people tend to struggle with but for you,it's just so simple.This is usually a talent that you have.

2. What do I love? We all have things that we are interested in and we can do them all day long- we don't get bored. For example,there are people who just love anything and everything to do with cars. They spend hours and hours,day in day out,scouring the internet for information.Look at your search history-hopefully it's all not about Keeping up with the Kardashians! :)

3. What do you love to learn about? What are you interested in learning? I love swimming and I'm always looking for ways to perfect my strokes and become a better swimmer.I'm interested in baking and though I don't bake,I would love to learn about it.See the difference? You can choose something that you are already doing or something you would be interested in learning.

4. Look at your life and the experiences you have had. May be you've had to deal with post-partum depression or cancer etc What did you learn?Is there anything of value that you can share with or teach others? How can you use your experiences to improve their lives?

5. In your life,what have you excelled in? For example, Kyle and Carson not only understand how to make online but they have also excelled at it-which is why they started WA to help others.Look at all your achievements.

6.What do others say about you? May be people come to you because you are good at planning events,baking,sorting out their laptop issues etc When you are good at something,people will pay you compliments for it especially the people who know you.This is also a good starting point.

7.Have people been ready to pay you for a service or product? For example,you could be good at baking so they are willing to pay you to bake birthday,anniversary or even wedding cakes.May be people have made comments like "you should be charging for this!"

See,everywhere around you there are great ideas. So,write them ALL down.
