You have the option of verifying your site by placing the meta tag in the Head Section of your Word Press site. Here is how you do this:
- Copy the meta tag from Bing Webmasters Tools.
- Head back to your Word Press site.
Click on "Appearance", "Editor", then, scroll down and click on "HEADER" php.
This will take you to "Edit Theme". Scroll down until you see <head>, Paste the meta tag after you hit enter to give you another line. After you've pasted the meta tag, Make sure your scroll down and UPDATE FILE. Don't forget to Update.
Note: When you update your Theme, you'll need to repeat this method. Or you can create a Child Theme.
Unless you use a Child Theme, each time you update your Theme, you'll have to repeat adding the Meta Tag to the Head Section of your site. If you use the ALL IN ONE SEO method, you'll not have to worry about repeating. It's a matter of preference. I prefer pasting the Meta Tag in the Head Section of my site.
