Testimonials are a great way to show social proof and build credibility.

That’s why you see so many online businesses proudly displaying customer testimonials on their websites.

In this tutorial I will show you to how to add rotating testimonials to your Wordpress website.

It's easier than you may think ...

Ready?

Let's do it!

First of all, you'll have to install and activate the Testimonial Rotator plugin.

Here it is:

https://wordpress.org/plugins/testimonial-rotator/

Upon activation go to Testimoniasl -> All Rotators:

As you can see, there are no available rotators yet.

So the next step is to create a rotator.

Thanks for your time Chrissie!

What do you mean regarding the comments?

It was just a thought, I was wondering if comments could be rotated instead of being underneath, but I guess its not such a great idea !

The basic idea is to have the most recent comment at the end of the list (top or bottom) ... So rotating the comments is maybe not a really good idea ...

Yes, I realise it is not the best idea, but thank you so much for bothering to answer a rather silly thought!!!!

Thank you for sharing.

How many plugins can we install on our website?

It is said that we need to keep them under 5 but this may not be easy! It seems that we will need to install more.

I run about 9 myself. I don’t know if there’s an actual limit. Just try to be mindful that each one will use more resources and, depending on what they do, delay your page loads while they process the info.

Regarding your question ... Usually the fewer the better ... On the other hand a very fast and very boring website isn't a great business tool ...

I have more than 30 plugins on my blog and is OK ... The point: the quality of the plugins is what really matters not the quantity.

Well-coded, lightweight plugins won't slow down your site ... Especially, if you have an efficient overall speed optimization strategy in place.
