STEP 12:
·Once logged in to your WordPress Admin, on your Dashboard, click on your post or page you want to add the code
STEP 13:
·Make sure you click on the “Text” tab
STEP 14:
·Right click on the page or post area you want to insert the code and click on “Paste”
STEP 15:
Click on “Update” and all done
STEP 16:
I have added this final step for anyone that would like to increase their following to their G+ circles.

This way, when my posts or pages get indexed and someone reads it, I've seen great results from people easily being able to follow me on Google+.
I've personally found that this adds good UX (User Experience) when people read my content which adds a picture to everything you put out there.
The Google+ badge allows visitors to engage with you directly from the badge itself and allow people to easily find you on Google+ and add you to a circle directly from your website.
