Readability Calculators

If you are an Outlook or MS Word user, you can check out this quick tutorial to have the readability check option enabled. Until further notice, Microsoft Office is currently only supporting the Flesch-Kincaid Grade Level scores and Flesch Reading Ease.

Here is another valuable online Readability Test Tool called the “Online-Utility Text Readability Calculator”.

It’s completely a free tool and you can also use it to examine your online text readability based on the various indices.

Paste in your content, or perhaps, include a blog URL, and you will instantly get readability scores with reference to:

  • Coleman Liau Index
  • SMOG
  • Flesch-Kincaid Grade Level
  • ARI

You will have the results like this:

The most amazing thing about this tool is that it gives you suggestions on which sentences to re-write to integrate your readability score which will make a big difference over the long haul. Above all, your content can be comprehended by your readers if you have a superior reading score.

Hi Israel, thank you once again. I use Rank Math SEO and it does give you a score, but have not got the best results. I may find the answer in your lesson.

All the best,
