Pasting The HTML Code

STEP FIVE: Pasting the HTML code into the widget, saving, and viewing banne

Ok, so now... (hang in there, we're almost at the finish line!)

You've selected either the Text widget or Custom HTML widget (either is fine), and you've added the chosen widget to your sidebar (or other location). You should see the widget over to the right on your screen. It should be opened.

Now, you need to do this next:

  • Switch from the Visual tab over to the Text tab
  • Paste your code that you copied into the text area
  • Quick Note: Once you paste your HTML code in, it's always good to add an extra little HTML to keep things in line, like <center> at the beginning of your code, and </center> at the end of your code
  • Click the little blue Save button
