For this tutorial, I'll be getting my affiliate link from Amazon and showing you how I shorten them using the Pretty Link plugin.

In the above image, that is my affiliate link for a watch that I want to promote on my site.

You see how long that link is, no one wants to click on something that looks like that. To much going on here, but that's ok because that's about to change.

Step 1:

What you would do now with the link you get from the program or product you want to promote, is simply copy the affiliate link, then head over to where you are creating your new Pretty Link and paste that link into the box that says "Target URL".

Step 2:

Next you go to the box that says "Pretty Link", and you enter the text you want people to see your link as.

Step 3:

Go to the box that says "Title", and enter a title for you to easier find your links within the pretty link dashboard, it's recommended to use the title of the program or product you are promoting.

Step 4:

Once your done with steps 1-3, simply go to the bottom of the page and click on the "Create" tab". That will create your link and save the changes.

All it takes is 4 very simple steps to creating your Pretty Link, now it's time to use it!
