Setting Up Rich Pins for Your Blog
Rich Pins can be set up in most of the popular CMS used for blogs. However, since most blogs are built on WordPress, we will focus this section on setting up Rich Pins for WordPress.
Step 1: Add Metadata
Yoast SEO plugin offers the easiest way to set up Rich Pins for use on WordPress. Download the plugin if you don't already have it and install. Configure the plugin by adding all social media links.
Once it is configured you can navigate to SEO > Social > Facebook tab and click "enabled" under Add Open Graph metadata. You're now set to display blog post as Articles Rich Pin.
Step 2: Validate and Apply
Proceed to Rich Pins Validator by adding the URL of one of your posts into validator box and click on "validate". The green check means that your Pins have been validated and then next is to apply.
Approval may take a couple of minutes to some days depending on when your request is reviewed after which your Pins will start showing up as Rich Pins.
