Once your group is finished being built, you will want to adjust your settings.....

Go to your group and click manage

Click on the gear icon on the far right next to your number of members (which should be 0 at this moment).

Make the necessary adjustments you wish to make based on how active you plan on being within the group and click save settings

You can also adjust other settings in the manage group page. There you can explore an array of options of functionality for the group.

You can get other people to join your group by joining similar groups and sending messages to these group members inviting them to your group link. You can also invite your personal LinkedIn contacts and connections as well.
