This one is golden, but as people in my state are pretty shy, it's hit or miss. I'll talk up to someone who is deep in thought over a product, yet again I'll use electronics. I have walked up to people eying LCD TV's before, and ask:

of getting one? I was too, but I just couldn't decide.
And see how the conversation plays out. In this case we ended up talking about how he just got HD satellite TV, but had a SD TV and was upgrading. After I was done, I walked a few isles over and jotted down some notes.

Pretty b@llsy :) I like it. I was thinking the whole time you were just getting ideas of what people like - but then you pitched them - that was classic! You never know who that person knows - they may go to the site, like it, and tell 10 friends - or become your sub affiliate.
