STEP 8: Copy and Paste the broken URL

Copy the broken URL from the previous browser tab and paste into the box provided:

Click the REQUEST REMOVAL button

Google will then reanalyze the link to ensure it is broken:

Then, once Google has verified that the link is broken, you will be presented with the change to have it officially removed from your sitemap:

Click the Request Removal button as shown above.

You will then see the pending request to have that URL removed.

Excellent! One more thing left to do!
