Hi Israel, thank you for this training. I regularly check for broken links using the free broken link checker. I usually find broken links in the comments, when people leave their URL and it no longer exists. Would you say that the plugin is more thorough, or is using a free tool just as effective?

Hey Jenny, thanks for dropping by! Glad you read this training and left a thought! Much appreciated! Yes, the plugin can actually help detect and fix all dead links in comments, images, posts and all of that. However, if you wouldn't want to add any other plugin to your list, you can leverage the free online tool called "Dead Link Checker". You just need to input a page URL and it shows all broken links as well suggests the way to fix them all almost immediately. I supplied the URL to this free tool in the training. Thanks for your contributions!

Yes, your site needs regular SEO audits from time to time and these tools can help you achieve that as broken links can hurt your search rankings if not fixed on time. Alternatively, if you never wanted to download a plugin, you can be using the Dead Link Checker Tool which is more fantastic that the Broken Link Checker plugin and it doesn't require any download or install.

If you don't ever want to add more plugins to your list, I recommended an alternative to the Broken Link Checker plugin which is the Dead Link Checker tool. It's just an online tool whereby you simply input the page URL into the toolbar and start the audit right away. Thanks for leaving a thought!
