Step by step method to find keywords searched on Google Search Console.

Finding and using spot on and flowing keywords, to attract visitors and help your articles rank online, is a star goal. Obviously a quality article is essential, and from that human sense keywords should shout forth, chose me, chose me.

Have you ever listened to music? All of a sudden a riff hits you in the ears. Well to me riffs are the keywords to music. They just grab your attention.

And that is exactly what your article’s keywords should do.

OK so we write an article and have a target keyword. Great, we basically know what this is. But what about all the other words. Well, all other words are potential keywords. The number that are ranked are totally dependent on what our visitors fancy to search on.

I used to find my searched keywords on Webmaster Tools. With the changeover to Google Search Console, I lost the path. I knew it had to be possible to find these and not on aRef (as it is too expensive for me).

Jay did a keyword tutorial and I asked the question. And that he answered very helpfully.

So here is a step by step summary of the ‘free’ process.

Happy you think so. I always seem to fall in the role of mentor. I was a 'mature' age student when I went to university. All the little boys (I did engineering - loads of boys and few of us women) used to ask me questions. And I could generally find the answers.

Have fun writing using your newly found ranking keywords.

Loes, plugging along like usual. I think I need a fire cracker under me! I am not being very business like.

And how's yourself. I hear it's pretty hot over there at the moment. France just had it's hottest day ever according to our news.

When we decided to move to Tasmania, the main reason was we had three weeks of 46C with no break. We were sleeping on the lawn on beach towels as it was cooler outside. Well we were sleeping with the little wiggly fauna. It's amazing what you can get used to.

It was so hot inside the corks were pushing out of the wine bottles!

Nice one. Our friend collects them and makes cork boards for pinning stuff to. Another friend makes toys and decorations out of them. She uses corks and pipe cleaners. Corks for bodies such as santa and reindeer and pipe cleaners for legs, antlers and tails.

If I come across my box of Christmas decorations I will send you a photo.

You're welcome Brad. I find being able to check ranked keywords is pretty good. Even though my usually good choices seem to be slipping!

Jennifer, thanks. I was getting frustrated trying to find this. When Jay goes over things they seem so logical. I was glad he answered my question. And then two weeks later he included it in his training.

It goes to show we should keep asking questions as it seems to jog his training ideas.

Yes this is why it is really important to tap into the training here.

When I say training I mean all the training like yours.

I find that taking part in all the different training here just confirms what is.

Have a great day
