3) Turnaround The Good News and Highlight The Bad

A turnaround is when someone gives you a good news and you turn it around to a not so good one. Usually you do it out of concern that the person don't see the flip side of the good news.

For example someone says "Hey, I've reached my goal and expanded my business to have 2 staff" and you go "You can now say hello long hours and goodbye to free time".

Seeing something good but thinking of the bad more than the good you see is most of the time shortsighted. So don't go there.
