Getting your website verified will help you get in depth analytics and information on people pinning pins on your website and it looks cool on your profile...

here is what you do

Login, go to your profile and click edit profile

Click on confirm website


Cut and paste the code and place it on your blog.....by doing the following

The space where you show to add the Pinterest code to the theme header already has my analytics code there. Where do I place Pinterest around this ?

Yes indeed! You can stack as many codes as you want as long as they are under the "<head>" section

And there's no way to switch a personal to a business account right? I've hardly used the account I have so I might as well start from scratch with a business account

i believe...sometimes you will get offered to convert your Personal acccount to a business account by Pinterest...you should be able to upgrade too....it's been a while...I personally went straight for the business account...
