Get the MX Record Updated to finish Setting up Zoho Business Email

Getting the MX record settings updated is one of the most important things to put in place to ensure you have a successful Zoho Mail setup. Simply click on the “MX record” link and it will suggest for you the right MX records to use in order to activate Zoho business email on your site.

However, if your domain name was registered here at WA and it’s hosted on the WA web space, there’s currently no MX record setting yet accessible to members but there’s a solution to this.

Some years ago, Kyle explained within the community how members can get the MX record settings updated with email hosting platforms and he gave assurance that every member will be able to access their MX record settings here at WA soon.

Here are some live screenshots signifying that Kyle actually spoke about the MX record Settings update.

From the screenshots above, Kyle disclosed that there’s an interface for this at WA and the Site Support can simply help members update their MX record settings no matter where the change is required to be added.

So, because all of my domains were registered at WA and they’re hosted here as well, I followed Kyle’s set of instructions by contacting the Site Support about my Zoho business Mail setup. In less than 2 minutes, I received a private message from the Support that the MX records have been updated and added successfully on my behalf. Take a look as shown in the screenshot below.

So, I got back to my Zoho Mail account setup and clicked on Verify TXT for domain ownership verification. As already mentioned above, I got a congratulatory message instantly that my domain ownership has been verified. Here is the screenshot of this message.

Once the MX record has been successfully added, return to the Zoho business email setup and complete the process right away. Once the setup is completely done, you can access your Zoho Mail account dashboard anytime and continue with other necessary setups such as adding users, creating groups, configuring email delivery and others.

An amazing solution is offered by Zoho Mail through the account dashboard for domain specific emails such as spam filter, branding, domain aliases and lots more.

Since you cannot directly send out emails from Gmail using your domain specific email address & a free Google Apps account can no longer be used to send & receive emails via your customized email address, Zoho Mail will suffice your needs. Would I be able to set up my business email with Zoho even if I have set it up with WA? or do I need to delete my email set up in WA before I move it to Zoho?
