When I started using videos, I found that the 'center text' function just didn't work with videos. I was stuck for a long time with videos that hugged the side of my post, and text that hugged my videos.

Too much hugging for my liking!

Give everyone a bit of space and have a nicely placed video within the body of your text.

I prefer just choosing a width that matches my page width when getting the actual embed code, but this is pretty useful too!

Yes, with a lot of thinner post areas you can't really tell. Most of the time 560x315 does the trick without any coding needed. Sometimes if the videos are square (480x360) they can look funky or putting them on a full width page can look bad IMHO.

I think you can resize the video to any size you want as well, so you could potentially match a width to whatever the width of your blog is, but I'm too lazy to scale the sizes :)

Fair enough, i guess it depends on your page width and how the video was uploaded etc etc

Thanks Nathaniell. I just shot over to view your training - I can already see heaps of interesting videos for me. I'm going to be very busy in the future - all worth it. Cheers.

Hi Nathaniell. This was really helpful. I'm fairly new to WA and was wondering if there is any way I can keep a permanent link somehow to this info, so I don't lose it. I'll give you a follow if that's ok, but will you leave this training up so I can access it from time to time. Thanks again for taking the time to help and share.

You can either email the URL to yourself if you like this one, or you can click on my profile image, and there's a blue button on the right hand side of my profile: It says "View all Training". You can check out all my training there - there's quite a few!
