Google’s GPS to your site.
Google uses things called “spiders” to creep through your site and find out what it’s about, your keyword density, your LSI density and thus your relevance to your keyword, and all of that fun stuff, but sometimes, these spiders need a little direction. We can give them that.
“Google XML Sitemaps” is the plugin we’re looking for. This plugin acts as a GPS (or an atlas or road map, depending on how old you are) for the spiders searching your site, and it tells them where everything is, and how to find it. It’s super helpful with your SEO. On top of that it just needs to be installed and activated and you’re good to go. It requires no configuration. Happy day!
At this point in the training, if you want to understand this next tip it’s essential that you have read, and implemented the ideas from another of my training modules. If you haven’t done this, go read it so you’re not lost. You don’t have to implement this just yet. You can come back and take part in method 2: reconstruction, if you need to, but it is important that you read it now, so get that done by clicking here. Don't worry, it's a pretty quick read.
Beware the Googlebot!

Well, are we sure about this?
""To start, allow me to give a little background. Google automatically assumes that if you have links on your website, you're trying to get something out of it (I don’t blame it, it’s probably true) and will lower you in the rankings. Now if Google finds your site and sees that it has no links on it, it will think that your site is purely informational and thus, more helpful for the people who search with Google (pretty much everybody).
Now let's get a little tricky… When you’re writing your content for your site, purposefully omit all of your links. Yup leave them out. If you want you can underline where you want them to be so you don’t forget, it doesn’t matter, just leave the links out.""

Very good training, and I really enjoyed your light humorous writing style.

When you say Google will give your site high ranking while it doesn't have any links on it, what is high ranking? Is this page-one ranking?
