Well, are we sure about this?

""To start, allow me to give a little background. Google automatically assumes that if you have links on your website, you're trying to get something out of it (I don’t blame it, it’s probably true) and will lower you in the rankings. Now if Google finds your site and sees that it has no links on it, it will think that your site is purely informational and thus, more helpful for the people who search with Google (pretty much everybody).

Now let's get a little tricky… When you’re writing your content for your site, purposefully omit all of your links. Yup leave them out. If you want you can underline where you want them to be so you don’t forget, it doesn’t matter, just leave the links out.""

It has nothing to do with your affiliate links or any of your out going links. It is all about back links which are the ones that get linked yo you from someone or something else and people where using computer generated back link programs to game the system. So now google does not use them to rank your site anymore or they only play a small part of your rankings. So you can still link to your other pages on your on your site and affiliate links but only a few per page. I hope this gives you more insight on this.

When you say Google will give your site high ranking while it doesn't have any links on it, what is high ranking? Is this page-one ranking?

It should be. It's as high as a ranking that you're going to get, although I'll admit I've had a site stuck on page four and it won't budge. It usually works for me though. Also I forgot to add in the training: more pages. Lots of content is a good thing. (should be obvious) and don't bold ALL of your keywords, only bold them at the beginning of every post. You probably know that, I just figured I would cover it just in case... Some people have actually PM me about that.

Hi, I have a question. Are you sure is a good idea not to putt any link? What about if the link refers to another page inside your website???

That's a good question, and I guess I should have clarified. You see, Google actually crawls your links to see where they go, so go ahead and leave your inner links. That's fine. Thanks for the question!
