Some of the time you will need to add the TID yourself. If you are promoting a JVZoo product, you will definitely need to do this. Fortunately, it isn't that hard. You just need to add "/?TID=variable" to the end of your affiliate link. For example:

http://jvzooexample/fdskero/?tid=variable

JVZoo recognises "Variable" as the command for tracking purposes. For other sites, you'll want to replace "variable" with your tracking ID. For example:

http://exampleaffiliatelink/me/?tid=PPC

That would then tell me when I make a sale through a pay per click medium. Again you can do the same thing with e-mail, web or whatever suits your purposes. Now if I have a $50 spend on PPC and no sales, I could easily identify it, shut it down and concentrate my efforts on a more profitable medium.

I hope that helped somewhat. I am by no means an expert in using tracking ID's, but I thought I would share what I know with you. If you have any comments or anything further to add to my synopsis it would be much appreciated :)
