Hi there folks, this is a video that may help you because ultimately, foxy proxy can and probably WILL fix your visual editor for good!

A missing visual editor caused me problems for about four months straight.

Right from the time I first joined WA - in July 2015...

up until about one month ago...

So, yes

I CAN EMPATHISE with YOU very much. If you have had visual editor problems for even just a measly FOUR DAYS, then I know you too, can also EMPATHISE with me.

Now, I know this video ain't the best production quality hollywood blockbuster that I would prefer to upload to WA. I am still a complete newbie to Camtasia Studio and I have much to learn of its capabilities.

My point is this...

THE CONTENT WITHIN THIS VIDEO IS LIKE GOLD DUST if you are having missing visual editor problems. You are going to IDOLIZE me like a demigod when you finish this video and copy my actions.

I know you will, lol.

Because remember, I can empathise just like you, and i just know that if someone showed little old me how to do this trick, they would instantly become DEMIGODS to me.

But I assure you folks, I don't want the fuss and commotion that comes with being a demigod, I would like to be treated like a rockstar, lol like Eric, maybe. HEY THERE E!

But don't treat me like a demigod. I am just humble little old Jimbo who accidentally discovered a weird trick to fix my visual editor. And I instantly KNEW that it was a BIG deal to a lot of people. So here's the essential trick you need to use to squash that nasty little bug forever - I hope....u see everyone's home setup/isp setup is different to mine.

That's why i say 99.9% will see the trick works. That's cos I am sure those who do have a visual editor problem and can't fix it with all the other fixes out there (permanently) - I am SURE they have isp or home network/router settings issues. Weird I know.

I went to a friend's house with my laptop. he has a different service provider for his internet. NOT ONCE did i experience the visual editor missing problem, on my laptop and my phone and my tablet, every browser worked, every single time. So that is how I finally deduced that it HAD to be my isp or my router settings or something closely related.

I had to share this knowledge out of empathy first and foremost. Those that know me would believe that instantly.

Those that do not know me might say I am self promoting - something which offends me, because I believe in altruism and that is always my first priority. Helping others is what I do - since I was a toddler I've been naturally inclined to help others because it hurt me to see people suffer when I could fix it. And I don't intend to stop that mindset now I am 44 years old. Get me?

That mindset is going to serve me well inside and outside of WA, I know it!!!

I think it would be morally WRONG if I did not tell all WA members about this. I was pulling my hair out, when all my hair off my head had gone, I had to move on to my chest hair - lol. That hurts!!! I would much rather have a brazilian bikini wax - ouch!

Sometimes I still have to flush my dns and refresh my browser, and stuff like that. But that's also a quick fix I will show you in another video which is entitled how to flush dns the easy way with sticky notes. Another little time saving trick right there.

Now, I accidentally discovered that foxy proxy fixed my visual editor. 99.9% of the time.

The other 0.1% is when I have to flush my dns and refresh the browser etc etc.

It's all good folks!

Jimbo!

All Hail WA!!!

I also had the disappearing Visual Editor problem on Firefox - switched to Chrome and had no problems since. This may help some. Cheers Jill

me too Jill, but trust me, it won't last forever, I can almost bet my life on it that you will have recurring problems with it, whatever browser or OS or plugins you use.

When you do - try this fix!!!

keep an open mind - I still don't understand WHY foxy proxy fixes it - I just experienced it and cottoned on to visual editor always appearing when i went "through" a proxy server - weird stuff indeed, i do not get it.

I hope someone else reading CAN explain why, that would be dynamite! Kaboom!

lol

OMG!

Wel thank you for the fix. Took me a while to get there but not as long as others on WA. you saved me loads of time trying to figure it out. Flushing the DNS was the key!

Sorry mate, I couldn't follow it. But I really love what you're leading us to. Does your solution work outside of USA? My Webroot Security gives a red alert warning not to go to proxy.list.org.?? I'm a tech newbie and all of this is scary coz I don't understand what I'm doing :)

choose another website to get your proxy from - maybe ur antivirus warning is 100% accurate!!! maybe, it is a false positive

always better to err on the side of caution and simply go to another site!

Excuse some of my spelling in some of my videos, When recording live videos and concentrating on lots of things at the same time, they are easy to miss!

Usually I am much more accurate with spelling! Something I pride myself on since I have always been an amazingly good speller.

Wish I was as good at maths!
