As we all know, the current world has gone fully mobile.
But, as an entrepreneur, expending alone on getting your site mobile-optimized isn’t going to be sufficient to be seen on top of the trend.
Users of mobile devices spend several hours on an everyday basis working on their mobile phones, and they probably won’t explore your content if your blog interface is burdensome, slow-loading & not finger-accommodating.
Enter a newly-launched project called “Google’s Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP)” which takes advantage of “open-sourced” specialized components that ensure speed and convenience for online blog readers, while you’ll be able to maintain the authenticity of the blog content that must be featured.
Meaning – instead of asking your building team to work out the specialized features of your page, AMP supports your content through a current page network that is intended to build speed and reduce page load times on mobile devices.
Essentially, every post will be seen through a plundered-down HTML standard page, promptly accessible to users in a "merry–go–round" format, productively featured on top of the most trending mobile search pages.
That being stated, the Accelerated Mobile Pages plug-in is not appropriate for all pages. Or maybe, as it is currently, it is intended for article publishers who need to get their content delivered to readers in earnest.
Therefore, specialized specifications are determined by the AMP system, so you’ll have restricted use of several features including Javascript – a fundamental part for page components such as web forms.
Very timely lesson that I have to study. I am doing great with my desktop speeds but pretty much all my mobile speeds are in the yellow.
I do have the accelerated mobile speed plugin activated but can's get my mobile speeds in the green.
I do realize the importance of good mobile speeds.
Thank you for the lesson.
Best wishes,
Michael
