Oh, the joy of tracking personal rankings! During our journey, we all need a way of keeping score. It's simply human nature,and it helps keep us motivated. A couple of weeks ago, when I joined Wealthy Affiliate, my member rank was in the 11,000s. A week later, it was in the 2000s. Yesterday it was 1927 and today, it is 1476.

I'm still not entirely sure what any of this means, but I darn sure like it. Of course, the ultimate score metric is profitability, but first steps first. Obviously someone is valuing my interactions with the community, and evidence suggests that it is quite a few someones. This is gratifying and promising. Again, I'm not entirely sure what it means, bit I'll take it.

Success is a solitary accomplishment, to be sure, but never is it achieved in solitude. Simply put, it takes others to make it happen. There are blog readers, customers, support personnel, affiliates, joint venture partners...the list is as varied as it is potentially infinite. And these just represent the external stakeholders.

The higher these rankings go, the easier it becomes for me to find material to write about. This is a good thing. Keep reading, family. I want top ten...
