My journey began some years ago, when I found myself using the internet more and more to promote my local business. Then things changed and my business downsized somewhat, then I started working from my house and things became quite grim, financially speaking!

Then a couple of months ago I decided to really focus on Online Marketing and got really interested in Affiliate Marketing in particular. Next came, lots of money spent on lots of schemes and products that promised to bring me traffic so I could sell my wares - many of which turned out to be not quite as described, or not quite yet working properly. Financially speaking - even worse!

Then quite by accident I came across a review site that wasn't just a sales page!! (did you know there is such a thing?) - Anyway I read a bad review of a product I was actually considering then read some more, then found a recommendation for WA - with full disclosure.

I decided to take a look, because the honest sounding reviewer said that there was a lot I could do with the free version - and there is - I've learned loads over the last week.

I already knew how to set up and run a Wordpress site - but I never really quite got the SEO, until I did the WA training. The training also taught me how to write my articles around low competition keywords to increase traffic - so they actually get read!

It's these little details that no-one ever really explains that makes all the difference. Once I have articles that get read adding affiliate links and adverts into my sidebar, makes so much more sense.

I realise to many, this all sounds a bit basic, but my knowledge of running a website prior to WA was really limited to sending potential clients to my site so I could get them to book an appointment with me. OK I do get some local traffic via Google, but not enough to warrant ads and affiliate links on my site. AND now - I feel like I 'get it' a bit more with each module of the training.

It's not just the training, it's the support, which is often instant. When I was tasked with choosing a niche I asked a question and got real people reaching out and giving me advice and opinions. - Having worked on my own for 16 years, this was a very welcome relief!! Then there's the live chat - I got stuck on a small technical hitch earlier - asked a question and within minutes a very kind and knowledgeable chap gave me the answer. It saved me hours in trying to figure it out for myself.

I am now full of hope - it's true I haven't actually made any money yet, but my head is now buzzing with ideas and best of all, I know exactly how to start implementing them. I now have easy access to all the tools and friendly advice I need to get started without spending another penny on free traffic schemes (which always end up costing more money), lead magnets, and products that promise (and ALWAYS fail) to be earning money within a 'few clicks' or 'by this afternoon'.

I feel I've been duped, quite a bit, I FEAR I have been gullible - a LOT, but am finally genuinely hopeful that I have found a sensible, workable way forward. - I'd love to hear from other members, what your experiences of WA has been and whether you made as many mistakes prior to WA as I did!
