I need some help with changing to new domain

I have tried to figure out how to change my new domain name.
My current domain name is too long and I want it to be a shorter one. So I bought a new domain name here in WA.
My current domain name is: coconutoilandhealthbenefits.com
I changed it to: healingwithcoconuts.com
So my question is:
How do I get my content transferred to this new domain name?
I am afraid to do anything wrong like loosing all my comments on posts.
Can anybody help me out?
