I am trying to understand the difference between having my website domain through siterubix in comparison to having my own already owned domain registered through WA (example.c

All good to ask questions -- let's get clarity here:
1. WA platform hosts websites: two kinds, siterubix is a subdomain, and the other is a domain which you can purchase at WA.
2. For an analogy -- think of the WA platform as land
3. the siterubix is a property on the land -- you do not own this property -- it's kinda like renting ...
4. a purchased domain is a property you own and is housed on the WA platform (like owning a building on leased land)
That's about as clear as anyone can make it ...
So if you want to build a credible authoritative website, it is generally considered best to own your own domain (such as a dot-com) ...

If you have your own domain name, and you have paid for, that's what you should use. That is your piece of Real Estate With siterubix is a wealthy affiliate own domain.

Hi Tony,
WA hosting platform is called SiteRubix. Your SEO is nothing to do with the hosting, but if you are trying to compare a free site from WA that uses a subdomain of SiteRubix and your own domain, the latter is better for SEO purposes.

You will always get better traction in the search engines by owning your own domain, rather than having it as a sub-domain of someone else's (siterubix in this case).
And there's no difference between buying a domain through WA and buying it through another registrar like moniker.
If you already own a domain that's on topic for the website you want to build, use that as one of the 25 that you're allowed as a premium member.

For me it boils down to authority. I firmly believe a custom domain name related to your niche is the best way to go.
Look at it this way. From the get go, which domain would you trust more:
apple.siterubix.com
scottsapplesales.com
apple.com
