Don't take too long asking for help or you'll end up like me!
Well, it is 2 am and I have been working on my WA stuff on and off all day. I started out so happy and hopeful. Got some things done too, like writing content, researching key words. You know, the things we all do, just putting in the work.
Well, I started looking at other members websites and let me tell you there are some pretty awesome sites you all have out there. I was so inspired by what I saw that I started working on mine.
Well it's four hours later and my site looks a hot mess. Somehow or another I totally confused myself and got so frustrated in the process. The crazy thing is if instead of wasting these hours feeling like I had to be the dumbest person in the world I should have just asked for answers from the community. I got so bogged down in my frustration that I forgot about the greatest thing about WA - the people, the training, the live chat, the help center, so many resources to pull from. Well I won't make that mistake again and here's hoping I can help someone else from making the mistake I did.

That is me. I need help with a niche. Gone through a lot of ideas but am still stuck on finding a niche. So here are some of my ideas. I need help with this in order to move forward. Ideas: 1) GUT HEALTH--I see it trends high, but probably has a lot of high powered sites. I was thinking of the natural healing angles DIY. This is an exploring information together maybe. I heard personal and transparency is a good approach to get people connected. This could also have product reviews and could be monetized through these featured and recommended products.
2) LOCAL and REGIONAL SMALL FARMS--With listings and highlighted feature interviews and or reviews. Maybe with a directory with name, location, and features. Could add their favorite recipes, etc. Not sure how to monetize this, but I like the idea. Not sure about the public, but in engine searches anything that consolidates information into one website is ideal. I hate wasting my time chasing dead end websites. Maybe monetizing would have to be with those on the directory. They pay annual fees to be listed?
3) LOCAL (and beyond) ALTERNATIVE HEALTH CARE OPTIONS--again with reviews and a directory of their features. This could have informational information as to their focus, views, etc. Could have feature articles that explain things like: Herbalist, Could possibly monetize through Whole Foods, (Amazon) Fresh Thyme, vitamin and supplement companies, There are companies in our local area. Not sure how to plan this for sure.

I have ideas here and could list a few more but these 3 above are the ones I see a lot of potential with.

Although your ideas are sound you will have a lot of competition from the established companies in the Heath Niche.
You should dig deeper into this Niche and find products that people are looking for but have a hard time finding.
Corner the market.
