I am unable to delete the -3 from my link What would cause that?
Permalink: http://plrmarketingresource.com/getting-started-3
Hello maybe you already have a http://plrmarketingresource.com/getting-started page, Then he cannot change from getting-started to getting-started-3.
Or ar least had such a page?

Hello Ignorant I had the http://plrmarketingresource.com/getting-started but I deleted the page twice So does it count up when you start over I have tried what Rene Lynn has suggested I want to get rid of the -3 not keep it

This is your problem: you use canonical links:
<link rel="canonical" href="http://plrmarketingresource.com/getting-started-3" />
just go to the settings of your page (below your page, you will see the ability to uncheck canonical URL (that' per page).
And you can make it default see print screen below...
When you did that, you will be able to rename the page...
(I guess/hope...) :-)

it is not advisable to edit the permanent link especially if your content has index in google.
but I do this option try if it works to you, in your dashboard straight line in your permanent link you can see edit, copy you TITLE first then paste in the edit box and press ok.

You are correct Renelynm it is, not advisable.
Your solution I do not completely understand what you exactly are doing...
But I just wanted to add that this page will (when you renamed the permalink) show in the search console of Google as a 404 error, there you can delete this old permalink thru the GUI and then its is gone your previous permalink to Google's heaven,... ;-)

I do this procedure after recognizing the problem in my permanent link within a day only after I publish the content.

You have to go to settings - permalinks and probably day and name or month and name is selected now. You have to change this to Custom Structure: http://domainname.com/%postname%

Hi everybody, I'M looking for some info I want to use my "dot com name" to go to a affiliate offer without going to my main website. Or do I have to create my own landing page
Why would you want to do this? I feel like it's much more profitable to have a blog with good information, but this might work. Let me know how it goes for you! By the way, you're in luck. I watched a YouTube video a few days ago going over just how to do this. youtube/watch?v=4Mqw7QVbmr0. You need to obviously put the actual YouTube URL in YouTube and add the ending of it, since I can't put links in the comments. Hope this helps!

You don't need to switch any links in the html code. Every page and post in WA has your affiliate link at the top (the link icon Affiliate button). It appears differently for each of us. ~Marion
When i click that banner it goes to the main sighnup page but I want it to go to the SiteRubix.com page whare it goes to the 2 free website setup sighnup page
It's not a sign UP page it's a sign IN page for people who have already joined Wealthy Affiliate. You need to send them to another page to sign up.
