What is the true question of our work?

In any research work but general in any human activity, we also set ourselves goals to carry out and then we search how to fulfill them.

A large part of the effort that is made in many companies is about how to set goals and about the different methodologies and tools that exist or that need to be developed to be successful when working by goals and arrive with the best performance quota per week, to the month or the year.

However, what we rarely or never ask ourselves is what led us to propose these goals, if the question or the initial purpose of an entire thesis is correct or valid or not.

If the fundamental premise of a project is incorrect or false, everything else is. So, no matter how many objectives we establish or how many of them we are capable of fulfilling, we will have worked, very hard but in vain, on something that has no real and substantial effects on others.

It doesn't always matter whether it is right, for the concept of right and wrong is strange.

It is important to pursue our dreams and pursue what feels right to us. You have to listen to your intuition and as a company to your core believes. Believe in your decisions and decide based upon your believes.

Love the post, but love Wendi's answer.

I ask myself, almost on a daily basis, "Am I right?"
It's so easy for me when the answer is YES!
But so hard, when I realize that the answer is NO! That's when I have to back up and either redo or totally delete my idea. Those days are harder, but in the end, very progressive.
Thought provoking blog. I really appreciate it.
All the best,
Wendi
