Using the power of the Alphabet Soup Technique
Alphabet Soup Technique underestimated
For a long time, I struggled to entirely understand the advantage of using the Alphabet Soup Technique to search for long tail low competition keywords.
It seemed to me that using this technique was a little bit redundant if I just can put a word or a phrase directly on Jaaxy or in any other keyword tool.
I have to admit that after a round of a few words, I became short of ideas and finally got a few keywords as well.
A new try
But recently, as part of the tasks of the Super Affiliate Challenge, we were asked to do a search by using the Alphabet Soup Technique to find ideas as the previous step to getting keywords through Jaaxy.
So I decided to stick to this instruction.
To my surprise and working methodically little by little terms were showing up till I ended up with a list of nearly 809 words! And still growing.
I started with the most common terms that came to my head as affiliate, business, marketing, etc.,however, as the list grew, more words showed up to be part of the alphabetic search.
The power of technique
Now the thing is that with my old method I could have ended with 30 or 40 words to search directly on Jaaxy rendering a list of around 20 long tail, low competition, >50 monthly searches and <100 of QSR keywords at the end of this round.
But now I have used just 50 words of my lists of "ideas" which produce me 25 valuable keywords and I still have 750 "fresh ideas" to explore in Jaaxy.
Before this exercise, I would have considered this step a waste of time and a foolish task, however now I've tested the real value of doing such step
* Those in yellow are words not yet explored, which require further in-depth search
