Backing up the data on our sites

Our websites are always growing and regularly we add new content and features

to enhance and add to it.

Since our websites are dear to us and are our "baby" we want to guard and

protect them so they thrive and last, so it is a good idea to be sure to backup

the data files on a regular basis.

Everytime you backup your site it stores your data in an up-to-date backup

folder which we can archive in a safe place in case there is ever damage to the

site or it crashes. Nobody wants this to happen but there are cases where it

does, either by accident, a poor move or even an act of nature, but it can

happen. And the best solution for this, if it ever happens, is to use the

backup data files to restore the site to its last previous backup, which saves

a lot of time, instead of rebuilding the whole site from scratch.

There are several ways to backup the site but the best one I've found is using

the FTP backup method with the FileZila software. It is safe and functional

plus there is a great training right here at WA from Marion Black.

Go see Marion's training and get in top shape to backup your sites regularly.

In case it ever crashes you will be glad you did!

As always Thanks for reading this post and as you finish it be sure to Like it

Thank you @tommmm for reminding me, I lost all my content by deleting the first work I had done believing that it was a problem of plugin but it was a problem of domain and still I am finalizing my work but I still did not make a backup, I need to discipline myself for this, once again Thank you

Thanks Tom. I'll check out Marion's training now. Jim
