Artists Assemble!
Hey I'm Tomas I'm fairly new to wealthy affiliate but I'm already in love with it :)
I am an artist and I want to invite other artists to leave their social media channels so we can help each other out by liking and commenting in each others stuff to boost all of our channels :)
So if you do music, painting, writing, videos o whatever is you do join in and leave your information, maybe tell us a bit of what you do :)
Here's what I do:
I am a musician (currently my money is coming from street performing with a guitar and singing) and also love to draw and write. I think I express it in many ways, but in the end what I do is storytelling. I have written a few children's books with illustrations and now I'm making a "poetic comic strip" (that's the term I chose and I'm sticking with it!) about my experiences. My goal is to start uploading it today to my new website (made with what I've learnt here) https://theartoftomas.com/ and my other accounts:

Do you guys use any other social media to showcase your art? (I've made a Soundcloud, Tumblr, Pinterest and deviant art but I haven't used them much)

I love the idea of a poetic comic strip! I also am a musician. I am the accompanist for the choir department at the local high school, I play for the Spring music at the local college each Spring, and I've written several original songs, all of them faith-related.

Are you uploading your songs somewhere? if so where?
I am very new at this so I'd like to get some advice :)
My first niche site is about working with kiddos in musical theater (the other part of my work life!) but I've had a domain name for my music for awhile. I've moved that to WA and will be working on applying the lessons I've learned to that.
I came to the songwriting game late (was in my 30's) so my first album was just released a year ago. I used a digital distribution service to get it on all the common outlets - iTunes, Amazon, etc. Working on getting videos of the songs done and uploading those to Youtube.
Wow that is amazing I should start leaning on how to distribute music through those channels :)
Could you maybe point me in some direction to start?
I would really appreciate it :)
