Let The Adventure Begin

The road to Wealthy Affiliate was in some ways a spiritual journey. A few weeks ago I was on vaction with my wife. We were visting her sister in Alabama. I was talking to Marty (my bother in-law) and the subject came up, while talking about my grandson Rus who just joined the army, about following your desire. I then realised that my true desire was to one day pubilsh a book. I have already published an e-book that I give away on one of my web sites but I want to publish a paperback book that I could sell on Amazon.

A plan was quickly formed. I would start by writing articles to drive traffic to my website and grow my email list. Then hopefully I would promote my book to this list to get it off the ground.

The next week, while back at home, my wife got an email, supposebly from my son, about an online program. My wife asked me to check it out. As I was researching if it was a scam, which I beleived it to be, I ran across an article which at the end of it had a link to Wealthy Affiliate. As it turned out the e-mail did not come from my son and I joined Wealthy Affiliate.

Can you beleive it. Here I was already planing on writing articles and I run across a program that teaches about how to write effect articles around targeted keywords. Who could ask for anything more.
I now that this is just the start of a wonderful adventure ahead.
