Unhinge the Text
My text won't let go of an image. I asked in live chat, but no one knew. There use to be a way to do this, but when I updated WordPress that tool disappeared.
It may be a simple fix, but I've been gone, absent, not here, not with my websites, not with my WA buds.
Any advice?

Can you clarify> my text won't let not go........does not mean anything to me.
You have a line of text, right? Then you insert an image, either right, left, or centered.
You should be able to first get rid of the thing. Then look at your text in "text mode". Nothing hiding there, right?
Now, what kind of image is it? Yours or downloaded from some place?
If not yours, check "Image details?, right click at the file and choose Image details. Maybe there is some embedded code in it.

When I say "won't let go" I'm talking about the text which is hugging my own original photo. There is a way to distance the text from the image but I forgot how and I can't find it in anywhere in the WA resources. It involves some kind of dragging. Not sure it's in the tools????
I'm not having trouble putting the image and text where I want it, it's just the two are huddled together as if they are kissin' cousins.
Then it wouldn't look like I want it to. I've done it before. There is some kind of tool you can add to the photo edit and I forgot.
I should have clarified that in my question. That after the update, someone told me or I figured out how to do it.
Thank you for replying. I know I have to drag something into the photo edit section. Frustrated.

perhaps try Funmine suggestion and delete the image and place it somewhere better suited
