You're website is one of the best websites I've seen. What are you doing?

First thing first ...sometimes you're tested through the hard times, if you can work through the hard times you can work through anything.

I read this everyday before I start on my website because we can talk ourselves out of anything.

Wish you the best.

Evelyn, thank you so much for the awesome inspiration. I read Veronica's six tenets for IM people to think about and believe that I will look at them everyday too. Here's to our success! Tina

I went fishing Today on the Suwannee River. Yes the one of song. I was doing some drift fishing. That's where you just let the boat drift with the current and let your line tag along. Well, when I came around a bend is the river, I looked toward the riverbank, and saw a squirrel on the end of a low hanging tree branch, making it rise up and down, trying to get closer to a Pecan that was on a tree stump in the water. The squirrel finally reached the Pecan, but as it did an Alligator came up out of the water and gobbled up that squirrel. Now, that really was a Down and Out day for the squirrel. But, what happened next, really surprised the Heck out of me. That alligator came back up out of the water and put another Pecan on the stump!

AWESOME! Keep in touch brother.

I will be glad to try to help and encourage you. You can pm me any time. We will take a look at what you are doing and see what the issue might be.

When the venerable and illustrious Hunter S. Thompson came to my hometown college for his rendition of a lecture on the life and times of a Gonzo Journalist, he attempted to delve into. the subject of "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" . He was helped out to the stage by a couple of "Handlers" to a long table that had a silver iced champagne holder with a bottle of Wild Turkey Bourbon sitting in it! As we looked down upon the stage and eagerly watched the proceeding's, being avid fans of Mr.Thompsons writings, we watched in disgust as Mr. Thompson made a complete fool of himself as he was in a completely intoxicated state.

What I am trying to get at here for you, is that down and out comes in all forms and strikes all levels of society, whether we notice this or not. I took away a completely different perspective on Hunter's writings after I witnessed the mess of a person he had become!

Just don't become that person!

Jack. :)

I wrote for a half hour on a reply and it got onveniently deleted.

Hahaha, you are forgiven, you deserve a break today!

: D

If you are meaning your online business, you have a great looking and informative website. If it isn't getting recognition, my suggestion would be to bombard social media platforms with it.

I will get back to you when I haven't had three beers. Gluten free of course. Feeling rebellious and lost.

Hey Tina,

What are your issues?

I will get back to you when I haven't had three beers. Gluten free of course. Feeling rebellious and lost.

Replied to vhamiltn, a new follower - followee . However feeling open and finally open to dialogue and development.

Work hard for what you want because it won't come to you without a fight. You have to be strong and courageous and know that you can do anything you put your mind to. If somebody puts you down or criticizes you ,just keep on believing in yourself and turn it in to something positive.

hope this helps...it's what I tell my kids, my wife, and myself when times are hard. Every situation is different and I don't know yours...all I can do is pray for you and i promise it will get better.

It's weird. Since Carson said my niche wasn't a niche I've been discouraged and haven't been able to complete writing assignments that were assigned, (by myself of course). Not meeting my own deadlines.

So I've been doing a lot of research, with the help of my good friend and WA colleague Ed Cronin, about potentially other profitable niches.

I must emphasize that I will never abandon my spa niche.

I One Hundred Percent believe that Carson is wrong on my niche not being a niche. My one and only published website, thus far, will bake and I will write and eventually it will be rankable and profitable.

So I have at least three niches in the oven at this point.

Thank you for taking the time to give me your advice. I appreciate it, and that is an understatement. God speed to you and your family.

Hi Tina,

I have the utmost respect for Kyle and Carson and all they have accomplished and what they provide for us. But they are not supreme commanders of our websites or our businesses, for that matter. If you have the gut feeling that what you are doing is right, go with that gut feeling. End of story!

But if you decide to be a renegade ;) then my advice to you is to set out a period of time, say 3 to 6 months, or more if you really need, and see if your concept is gaining traction. If it is, then continue putting forth the effort. If it's not then consider what Carson is advising you on. But never give up. Never! There is simply too much potential in this and if you have the will to succeed, you can. To paraphrase Henry Ford, "Whether you think you can, or think you can't, either way you are right!"

As an alternative approach, you could explore another niche while maintaining your spa niche. I know we are advised against doing more than one niche until the one that we are working on is in maintenance mode so to speak. meaning that it's making us money and we don't have to spend too much time on it anymore. But your situation is a bit different in that you truly believe the spa niche is workable. By doing another niche you can compare which one is doing better over a certain period of time, and decide to put more effort into the one that is working.

If you ever get to a point where you feel like you want to pull the plug and give this all up, please reach out to Kyle or Carson. You may have to give them a couple of days or so to respond as with thousands of members they can't answer us immediately. But it will be worth your while to do so. I've been where you are at and they have helped me considerably.

Of course, I and every other member at WA will be there for you as well.

Best Regards,
Jim

Roland is right, Tina! I say it to myself all the time, it can only get better and the only way to go is Up.
