My honest review of Wealthy Affiliate.

I have been here for 40 days now and figured Id write my 40 day review.

I started premium right away. Could I afford it? NO, but Honestly how couldn’t I? I am really serious about building my online brand and to do that I want to soak as much of the training and help I can get.

If any of my followers have noticed My first website was Theintrovertedview.com. So I am at a disadvantage already because I don’t know if I could ever do Live videos as it makes me feel real anxious. I am and have been pushing many personal boundaries here to give me the best chance at success.

The people here have been great and I appriciate all the help and that's why I continue to login here and help people. In 40 days here is what I’ve accomplished.

• Fully built out 2 Website's
• Have posted 6 pages and 4 post's with 17 comments on 1(Theintrovertedview.com) and 8 pages, 10 articles and 20 comments on the other(learnbuildprofit.com).
• I have began to write my first Ebook
• I have made my first presentation with Google slides
• I have finally put my Linkedin page to work for me by updating my profile and I even created a group the about affiliate marketing.
• I have joined groups on facebook
• I tried to use Google + but I’m still having a hard time with that one as I keep getting flagged for spam from posting any of my articles. I use Google so much and don’t want to risk losing it I have stopped putting any articles on there unitl I can figure it out properly.
• I have done as much as I can here within the community. My rank is 565 as of today. I have gained 250 followers.

That’s a lot to accomplish in 40 days. So I am satisfied and could not have done it If I hadn’t gone premium right away. I have learned so much and done things that I didn’t think was possible. I thank Wealthy Affiliate for this.

Now with that said, There are some drawbacks here at WA that can be approved upon. Ill list what I have gotten frustrated over so far:

• The email system in Siterubix does not work to well. I have missed many emails as a result of it my main Email for my site just flat out didn’t work. I wasn’t getting any of the emails from companies I signed up with that email. Support is great and fast and said they fixed it so i tested and Yes it worked, Only to go into it after testing to find out the email totally disappear..lol so I recreated it again and it seems to be functioning.
• The notifications from wealthy affiliate are hit and miss. The servers must be overloaded as I get emails on things here days after the event happens. If I wasn’t here so much I would be extremely late on some issues.
• The comment request section of WA could use an upgrade. I give people honest comments on the article or the place they requested and I don’t mention WA. I have to give two comments for every one I receive. Which is time consuming. And some of the comments I received people mentioned in there that they are WA members which doesn’t help me too much as People reading those comments are just going to think we are here commenting each other and not getting real honest comments on content. Comments on my articles that I spend hours writing are not for you to promote your brand or WA on. They are supposed to be for my benefit.
• While the vast Majority of members here help in a true and honest way, Their is a lot of "smoke up the butt" feedback’s on the feedback section. When a user request feedback and they are clearly doing something wrong. Don’t lie to them and say " Great progress keep it up!" give them honest feedback that will help them. By blowing smoke you are hurting them. They will continue doing the things that are wrong and The longer they do them the harder it is for them to fix it. I know, No one wants to hurt anyone’s feelings, but you can give constructive feedback without hurting feelings by telling them the truth and offering to help them fix it. I have done this every time and No one has taken me up on my offers of help. Probably just human nature.
• One last thing I wanted to touch on. I have honestly offered true support and advice here and responded to some peoples request saying that if I leave a comment they will return the favor and No one has yet to return the favor. Our word is all we have and don’t offer to return the favor and then don’t. Its plain rude.

I know truth hurts and we all get our feelings hurt but I rather you tell me my website sucks then to tell me a lie that’s going to hurt me. I understand people are being encouraging here. but, Are we sacrificing results and progress to protect peoples feelings?

in closing my review of Wealthy Affiliate so far is that it is a great Community and training platform. There is help wherever you look and the training is second-to-none. The amount of value that you get for the 47/month makes the subscription seem like pennies compared to what you receive here. They could charge 100/month and I would find a way to pay it.

As you know if you read my profile. I had to shut my business of ten years down and am currently unemployed in one of the worst areas you can be unemployed. I have applied for around 30 jobs and haven’t got one call back.lol my wifes car is repo'ed and mine is next anyday now. I have a wife and two little girls ages 4 and 5 and I can't afford this. But I want to share a story of how I covered this months fee.

I saw a friend on facebook post a washer and dryer for sale for $300. I have a lot of experience with selling on craigslist so I politely asked If she wanted me to sell these for her on there. She said yes. So I posted them on there for $350 and sold them in one day. She was so happy she didn’t have to do it she gave me the extra $50. I never asked for it. its not my style, But I didn’t refuse it because I knew my family need the $50 since I had to pay WA 47. So this was a great way to pay for premium and plan on trying similar things until I can start making money from my websites or get a JOB, god help me please.
