So many directions but which one is right?
Good Can Be Bad.
While being part of Wealthy Affiliate I have recieved some solid coaching. Many questions have been answered and new disciplines have been created. All of this is good of course.
Now for the bad that seems to come from the good for me at least.
Not having the experience to know which tools, plug-ins, web sites and the such are the best ones to use I tend to chase too many. Those "many" often times conflict with one another. It is through this conflict that the bad comes for me.
Changes waste my limited time.I spend my time learnign and watching videos that tell me to use this plug in and this theme to only be led to another video or post telling me to not use those but these newer ones.
Now down this new path watching new videos and reading new blogs and post to learn these new tools. At the end of the week with my investment of only being able to be maybe 1-2 hours a day, I end up with a blog backend being filled with deactivated plugins and a slower blog.
It feels according to my pocket book that with all the changes it takes more money and not just time.
I dont mind investing money, if it is going to take me somehwere other than just expereince letting me know how I wasted my money.
Money can be invested through apps, plug-ins, themes that are supposably more friendly for affilate sales and the such. I fall prey to those systems that promote getting more readers, affilayte dollars and the likes because the post I am reading are written by those who know what they are doing. I do not.
I am turning back to the Wealthy Affiliate community to please help me out.
Changing doesnt bother me. Can anyone here in the community help me with sumamrizing:
- What specific plugins are needed for succeful affiliate sites?
- Any specific links you can provide for me to check out from some proven bloggers?
- What changes did you make to get more readers?
- What are you using for collecting emails? For sending an appreciatin resource out them for signing up?
- Are there questions I need to be asking and looking for answers with that I have not here? What are they and where would I look gfor the answers?
- What affilate programs are you finding to be the best?
- How do you promote affilate sites on your blog? How many do you try and advertise? How often do you advertise them in blogs without becoming a bother to blog readers?
Please feel free to give any input that you may have.
Thanks

Hello TMcKeever, your questions are many, although meaningful and making sense! But I'll like to give you some resources that will get one or more of those questions answered.
On what to use for collecting emails, you may check it out here: How to Convert Leads into Customers On getting more readers for your website, read the resource below: How to Get More Readers to Your Blog Israel Olatunji
I chose Amazon, WA, Grammarly, and the likes as my favorite: Why I Chose to be an Amazon Affiliate
I agree with not putting the cart before the horse. I'm trying to build my readership right now and provide value etc. which is why one of my questions had to do with the best way to capture all the emails of the crowd I will draw in. I ae read a few different angles here in WA and topics like this.
Just trying to get some clearer direction for me. Thanks for your comment as well.

Wow ... OEC training completed in about a month. That's an incredible accomplishment. But I sense some frustration with things the tasks should have exposed you to.
Don't forget the growing list of training put up by members. You can locate this training by doing a WA keyword search up at the top.
These are members who took to time to develop training blogs and tutorials on subjects they struggled with after they made resolution breakthroughs.
