I'm not quite sure what you're asking.
If you wish to transfer a domain name to WA, ie. http://howitaughtmyself.com then ask the current registrar for a transfer code and then use that within Siterubix > SiteDomains to bring the domain to WA.
To then move http://howitaughtmyself.siterubix.com to your own domain http://howitaughtmyself.com follow this training How to Transfer a SiteRubix Website to Your Own Domain
Hi, thank you for your response, I fear my old brain sometimes does not do me justice.
I will go to the old host and ask for the necessary code, then follow through as you suggest.
Thanks again, best wishes,
Tom.
No probs. also remember that transferring a domain does not move any site associated with it. If you have built a website on that domain, you will need to back it up before you transfer the domain and then restore the website here from that backup once the domain has been moved. Move a Website

Hey Tom,
If you are not receiving comments from that area of WA, it could be that your topic is not being chosen to read and comment. My advice to you would be to also try here: Need website comments? the give and take comment thread
Hi Triblu,
Thank you for your response, when I submit it does not deduct the credits.
When I do a survey, the credit is added.
Thank you for the alternative , much appreciated,
Tom.

so you already transferred your material already from your old site to a free site here?
- was your old site a wordpress site or did you use a different type of web builder first time round?
ie did you transfer a wordpress site using clone or did you transfer files one at a time?
Hi Mary, thank you for your prompt reply.
I have all the original scripts, I had to remove some data to allow the backup to function properly.
All my transferred sites are WP., and a I built this particular site as a 'newbie' as a result of this, the many mistakes. It is a mildly popular site and I want my site to give the visitors a better experience.
I did not transfer the sites, the Technical Department did the transfers, all I had to do was to point the nameservers to WA.
Hope that gives you a better idea of the situation, and would transferring the hosting, for this one particular site, help?
Thanks again,
Tom.
Well the good news is Wordpress is a type of website builder platform that allows you to pick up from where you left off and improve your site from when you originally created as a newbie . I would highly suggest going through the bootcamo training even if you have already done so as it walks you step by step through the process of building a proper website! I would also suggest spending time in the plugin tab if Wordpress go to plugins and select add new and search through the 50,000 plugins aviable some free some paid that will extend the functionality of your site to meet your needs without writing any code. It is very simple once you find a plugin you need simply hit install and then activate and the controls for the plugin typically show up in lefside of Wordpress which when you will allow to change settings. So basically let's say you wanted a contact form so people can. Intact you, simply search contact form in plugins make sure you select add new or you will be searching through plugins already installed on your site not plugins you wish to install and simply install and activate. My suggestion Limit the plugins to those you really need as the more you install the slower your site becomes for those using it. Hope this helps some
Thank you for your reply.
I would still like a comment on whether transferring my domain name to WA. would help with the design and my efforts to upgrade the site.
I will follow your advice and seek a limited number of plugin's.
Thanks again,
Tom.
