Are you taking a shot or not

How many times have we all desire to change our lives, improve our financial situation, dare to be different, take charge, go explore a foreign place, or just say hello to a stranger that we're attracted to... but we balk simply because we are afraid of taking a chance? And how often do we regret for sitting like a bump on a log?

I lost counts on numerous opportunities that I've passed up because I lack confidence or am intimidated. An example was not meeting a director who could have granted me an access pass to a football draft party and meet the players. I was too shy and thought of myself as an average fan, so I'd assumed the director would not give me the time of the day. But lo and behold, I found out that the director did want to see me. Ouch.

But... the one thing I did not pass up was an opportunity to register at Wealthy Affiliate University. I didn't want to be standing on a Someday Isle, so I decided to take my chance because if I don't, I'm guaranteed to miss out on something. Like the mantra goes, If you don't play, you can't win.

Everything is a gamble. But you can't always play it safe, or else you'll never get anywhere. If you want to grow, do well, and have a shot at something, you got to take a little risk.

You can do it.
