My Time As An Affiliate Marketer

Hi, tomorrow will be my 1 month anniversary with Wealthy Affiliate, doesn't time fly when you are having fun.

I have been struggling for years to make sense of all the information that I have learned over the years ad felt like their was something missing, gurus keep that key piece of information so that they can get you to buy their products, but you still do not get that missing piece and you are out of pocket for hundreds of dollars.

So I decided to start an information web site on affiliate marketing to help those who are new to affiliate marketing and don't know what to do or how to start, this site is free for anyone to use all I ask is for them to link back, there maybe a couple of links to products that are low cost and might benefit new affiliates but this is a non profit site and that is the way I would like it to stay.

Why would you dot that? I hear you all shouting at me, well its quite simple really, people look to affiliate marketing for three reasons.

1. They have just lost their job for whatever reason and need to earn money to pay bills etc.
2. They have a job but are on a very low income and are looking to supplement that income.
3. Ok, this is my favourite reason of all - they think its a get rich quick scheme - SO WRONG!

Affiliate marketing is not a get rich quick scheme, it is about building a profitable business so that you can get out of that rat race and be your own boss, but this does not happen overnight, oh no grasshopper, it takes dedication to succeed and hard work.

I was happy in what I was doing until last year when I was made redundant yet again so I needed to step up the learning and start doing, I fell into a couple of scams, which I got our as quickly as I could, so I set up another website and did review and posts on affiliate marketing but something was still missing and I just could not put my finger on it.

Well, I got this email so I thought I would check it out, it looked too good to be true so I thought I would do a little bit of research on this particular company, nearly all the reviews I had read told me to run as fast as you can as this is the biggest scam going, I was about to close my browser when a link caught my eye it said "My recommended affiliate programs" so I clicked on it, their was a list of 3 or 4 affiliate programs that this guy was recommending so I clicked on the first one, yeah you got it 'Wealthy Affiliate'.

I sat and looked at the sign up page for quite a while, I think I read that page at least 6 times before I actually plucked up enough courage and filled out my details and clicked on the submit button. Once inside I was impressed by what I saw, at first it was a little bit overwhelming as I had all these people that I did not know welcoming me to WA and all this information as well, but the support you get here is out of this world.

On day two I signed up to premium, the training is the best I have ever seen, there are no constant popups to get you to upgrade, you can just simply stay as a free member for as long as you like and that is what I like about WA, you can go at your own pace which is good for me as I now have a 8-5 job and doing an NVQ in customer care through them so I do have a lot on my plate at the moment. But my main priority is starting my own business, not just for me but for my family as well.

So I would like to thank Bare Naked Scam for pointing me in the right direction and to everybody here for all the help and support you have given me, and thank you to Kyle and Carson for letting me be a part of this, we are not just a community I like to think that we are also a family, because we do what family's do we help and support each other through the good and the bad times.

WA is everything is says on the tin and much, much more so for those who are contemplating whether they should go pro or not my advice is this. Do it!, because you will regret it if you don't, you will have access to more training which is out of this world and you can create up to 50 websites that are hosted plus the email accounts, you would not get this anywhere else at this price.
