Embrace The Training, Embrace Success

Seems lately that I see so may people in the live chat asking questions that the WA training will answer. There is no substitute for getting on board with the training asap and moving through it methodically. Depending what your focus is, either the Affiliate Bootcamp or the Online Entrepreneur Certification track will get you on you way.

Asking questions when we're stuck or need reassurance is only natural and necessary but I'll speak for myself, that at times I would find myself running to fast or perhaps not going through (the incredible learning opportunity) lesson by lesson. The structure of the lessons is such that they build upon each other, so following the sequence is quite important.

Who was it that said, "slow progress is better than no progress at all"! It's good to slow down once in a while and let the knowledge sink in and take hold.

The interesting thing about the training here at WA is that once we learn this stuff, we're able to share it with others who need help getting through a knot hole from time to time. That's powerful! Foundational! It builds relationships, communities, networks and provide us with confidence and a sense of wellbeing when we are able to help others from knowledge we've gained by going through all the lessons.

The title above "Embrace the Training" was given to me by a member here at WA several months ago and it has stuck with me ever since. I was frustrated and wanted to quickly plow through the lessons just to get through them...not a good idea. I think what he meant was that if you embrace the training, you embrace success. Makes sense to me.

I'm not sure about you, but on many occassions, I've had to go back and revist some facet of the training...including the video's that Jay produces weekly from his live webinars. Thank goodness they’re available!

I think what separates the Pro's from all others is the persistent thurst they have to learn..to acquire knowledge to grow and prosper in their niche. Only by developing a solid base of knowledge can we compete effectively and become successful in our own right. Taking time to acquire and master the skills necessary to become knowledgable in blogging and affiliate marketing is within everyone's grasp...if only we are willing to put in the time it takes to do so.

We're all different, so we learn in different ways, but as long as we continue to learn, we're making the journey, we on the right path. If we stop learning in favor of taking a shortcut, we've decided that learning is no longer valuable, so by default we made a decision to place a limit on our development and therefore to limit our success.

So how long will it take, we ask? As long as necessary, it’s the only plausable answer isn’t it!

Dont forget not everything is in the training but you are correct for the most part. Some techie issues do pop up and we all can help each other solve them. That is what live chat is for however we just gotta be patient with newbies or older people who aren't technically savvy. My Deaf mother is one good example, she is in her 80’s (I use capital D to identify myself being genetically Deaf from five generations and belong to the Deaf culture community) and is learning how to use her iPhone, now she cant live without it. Funny how things turn out sometimes. Thanks for sharing your blog with us Tim. I agree wholeheartedly with what you wrote.

Hi Benda, thank you for the very real reminder that some people need more assistance and patience than others. You are so right. Have a wonderful day. All the best to you.

Really enjoyed your article nice job.
Describes me to a “tee”.

Hi John, glad it resonated with you. All the best to you as you continue to reach for your goals.

Have to say that real life has intruded a lot lately, so continuing the training hasn't been an option. Managing to do bits and work stuff out has been about it.
You are right though, it's the best way to learn.

Hi Linda...yup, life gets in the way for sure at times, so we yield then when things lighten up we get back up and march on.

Very true Tim. I sometimes wonder if this was a good time to start with so much going on and so many commitments but now I`m here there is no way I am giving it up. I love it.

Great post Tim. We must entice all those that don't already to embrace the training.

Derek

Thank you firstlearn. Well stated. All the best to you.

Exceptionally well put. There can be a tendency to 'gloss over' the training, maybe in the belief that the next set of lessons will give you the 'secret formula'
Two weeks, ten weeks or a year, doesn't matter, as long as you understand before you move on.

Exactly right as long as you’re moving forward. thanks for the comment, Twack.

You're very welcome Tim.

Excellent post, Tim.
After all the time here in this wonderful WA family, I am still at OEC Phase 2...lol. However, no regret.
Just enjoying the great positive "atmosphere" and great training programs available.
All the best to everyone reading this. Kind regards.

Take your time and enjoy learning. Thank you, klchang

Excellent post. So true. Moving forward at any pace is still learning and growing. It's important it's done properly.

Spot on, Bojo13. Thanks for the comment.

"It does not take any longer than your ability will allow." Tom Short.

Well said. Thanks for the comment, Tirolith

The training works, we just need to follow it.
