Thoughts on Content Creation:
If you're going to make a website, it should be something unique and special. At least base it on your personal experiences and add a touch of your personality to the content. I come across so many websites that are basically clones of each other, and its no surprise none of them do well.
My advice? Go all out. If you want to use harsh language do it. If you want to be blunt do it. Write articles that read like a conversation with close friends. Poke a little fun at your topic.
As a marketer, I'm always keeping track of what people share online, and - this might come as a shocker - its not generic articles. People want to share interesting or funny things online. Combine both those elements in your articles and your website will have a much higher chance to succeed.
I haven't been writing for my own website in awhile. When I start again, I'll only write that is not only fun to read but also informative. We will see how it goes.
I'm starting this little blog to record the thoughts and ideas I have when working online. Hopefully someone will gain something from it. Until next time!
