Coming to the end of course 4 now and I have to create a blog so here it is. It won't be anything much but I'm just going to say about some of the stuff I've been up to.
My website is coming a long nicely I think. I've created 15 posts, trying to write a post a day. I only fear running out of keywords but hopefully I should be able to find some more with the help of Google instant. All the keywords I target only deliver 6-50 estimated traffic (using the WA keyword tool) so not much. This is because I always target the low-hanging-fruit keywords as these typically have the lowest competition. I haven't got ANY traffic yet, but I'm not expecting to until I reach around 40 posts. I find it difficult to stay motivated sometimes because I know my content isn't being found and read by anyone but I just write it anyways.
Damn, I can't wait to start getting traffic and comments and ultimately revenue so I can prove to my dad that this actually works, lol!

I've been asking questions and keep writing content and hopefully I'll eventually get ranked by Google. I still have to submit a sitemap so I don't even know if Google knows about my site yet. However, when I type in site:thepcprogrammer.com in Google, it returns a load of pages and posts and tags from my website so I assume that some of it must be indexed, which is great! Most likely will be on some ridiculous page number though, lol.
In 3 months time, I should theoretically be at 45 posts so I hope I will be getting some traffic then. However, because of school and exams, etc. I doubt I will have that many posts. I try to write 2 per day on weekends as a lot of the time in the week I don't get enough time.
In 6 months, I'd like to be earning money from my website and have rankings on page 1 for most of my posts. For some reason I don't feel like this will happen though, probably because my previous sites were fails so yeah...
