Phew. Finally made it back here. Hello again lovelies.

I didn't mean to disappear for quite so long but when I snapped my PC shut in December, it was because I was off to get married...

Three months later, and I'm back at the desk.

In Cloud Cuckoo Land...

But it has been a struggle. I intended to be back at this three weeks ago. It's been 'in the cloud' at the back of my brain, but somehow I couldn't quite get down to it. I found myself in the enviable position of having 5 full days a week to myself to focus on ME and what was I actually doing with that time?

F A F F I N G

Actually, that's what it looks like in a negative light. OK, so I did spend time clearing the garden, getting the laundry up to date, re-organizing the kitchen cupboards, settling into being a Mrs again and enjoying it. But I put that into a Zen Cleaning category.

I like to have things organised and clear.

But my head? A completely different story. There's only so much satisfaction that can be gleaned from a nice pile of completed ironing. And that was the sticking point. I couldn't actually SEE in my head an end point to work towards. What I had envisaged in November/December had slipped away...

So i sunk into my iPad, reading this, reading that, learning HOW to be a supersonic entrepreneur, getting involved with the crazy politics of this country, learning tech-savvy ways from other social networking sites to circumvent the Twitter ban, down loading all the gorgeous little apps that are free to make my life more streamlined and efficient, OK and occasionally losing myself in Candy Crush. I found Springpad and loved it. I've collected so many clippings it's going to take another 3 months to read them all...

But the questions remained, the inner critic banging on like an old relative...

WHAT and HOW are you going to sell on the internet?

How can you sell yourself? SNORT. Who is going to be interested in YOU?? GUFFAW. All you do is collect stuff...

ALL YOU DO IS COLLECT STUFF...

What sites have I signed up to, subscribed to? What really interests me? Which sites did I return to over and over? Am I forming a 'relationship' with these sites? How do I respond to their blogs? Who did I start 'following'?

Which did I delete, unsubscribe to? Why?

What have I kept on my reading list? Will I ever really read it? If not, hit 'delete' Great Zen. No bin-bags required.

Looking at these questions and my interests has enabled me to take a critical look at myself from the outside in, and pinpoint the things that really matter to me.

Analyzing myself as a USER has given me a starting point.from where I can at least begin to create a map of where I want to go, and some concrete actions to take along the way.

So this time out has not been time wasted. I'm virtually starting to know myself.

The next thing I have to do is start my WA web-site all over again. I just don't have the enthusiasm for baggage any more, DELETE...
