I was trying to use one of the WA banners on my post and its not linking to my affiliate link...

Did you get this figured out yet.

When looking in the banner tab https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/share/banners

the html code has your WA affiliate link in it already. This is what you place in your link.
Here's a video showing you how. You can try another browser when you click on the clink to see if it takes you to WA and you see your WA affiliate ID is the address bar.

Yes they are linked to your account.

That's what I thought too, Mike!

Jeff

Yes. You can copy the link that does.

Hi, Abie how does it work because when I press on it its just showing the picture its not going to WA sign up page..

This is what its doing

That's where you obtain the links, notice the first line of the image, you affiliate link is attached. It needs be pasted in the text interface of your block editor. You may also search for a custom html, clicking the navy plus icon.

Can I go in and change the meta title and description once its indexed in search engines? Because on the site it looks like a lot of bunched up words when I pull it up in Bing

You mean indexed.

You can edit all except changing the URL. If the url changes to Google it would be a new post, any ranking that has been done would be lost.

Mam how to decide rank?

Hi, Abiie yes that’s what I mean… Thanks

First your posts get indexed and often days later down the line start getting noticed provided targeted keywords are searchable, new websites can rank efficiently.

But typically "authority" for a website starts to get established through time, usually the 3-6 month mark.

They fluctuate up and down the scale till Google decides where to place them.

Not all posts will get ranked, thus the recommendation to keep updating blog 2 - 3 posts a week and that's for the foreseeable future.

Most welcome!
